Welcome to Bed & Breakfast Het Gele Huis.
The Bed & Breakfast is situated in the quiet and characteristic neighborhood “Oranjewijk” southeast of the beautiful centre and historic town of Leeuwarden with its many musea and striking cityscapes.
B & B Het Gele Huis is situated on walking distance from the train station and the centre of the city (both 1 km). Our B&B is situated on walking distance from Hogeschool Van Hall Larenstein and NHL Stenden University (by bike).
I will help you by giving you personal information or actual folders of the diverse activities and cultural attractions in Leeuwarden.
You can park your car for free at the front door. To make your stay in Leeuwarden more comfortable you can use two free city bikes for exploring the town and its surroundings.
You have access to a double room with 2 single box spring beds, private bathroom with shower and bath and separate toilet. You have access to free secured wireless internet and cable television. For your recreation there are magazines (Dutch) and some parlor games. There is also a cd-player with several cd’s. In the room you can make your own free coffee and tea.
You have also got access to the terrace in the back garden which you enter trough the studio.
In the morning a “Frisian” breakfast is served in your room.
The costs for a stay at B&B Het Gele Huis are € 85,00 for two persons for one night and € 52,50 for one night including breakfast and free use of my bicycles. I am required to charge tourist tax (€ 1,65 per person/per night). These costs must be paid in cash only on arrival.
You can check in between 17.00 and 20.00 o'clock or on appointment. You can check out until 10.00 o'clock. When you are our guest for several days, we can make other appointments. You pay the accommodation costs cash in euro’s at arrival. When you stay three days or longer I ask for a partial payment in ahead.
Smoking is not allowed in the B&B with exception of the terrace in the back garden. Pets are not allowed. Here in Het Gele Huis we have two cats, Diesel and Dolly.
